I’m a Software Engineer with over 3 years of hands-on experience building SaaS applications. My journey into tech began with a degree in Biology, but after discovering a passion for problem-solving through an Intro to Computer Science class, I pursued a second degree in Computer Science. I'm passionate about using my technical background to help customers understand complex systems and make confident decisions.

Engineer II, Gogo Business Aviation	11/2020 - 06/2021
Designed and implemented automated regression tests using Cucumber to validate existing backend functionality after code changes, catching issues early in the development cycle. Developed comprehensive end-to-end tests integrating Selenium for frontend validation, ensuring consistent behavior across the full application stack. Achieved a 75% reduction in test development time by automating the creation of functional tests using Groovy, Cucumber, and BASH. Ported GitLab pre-receive hooks involving Jenkins DSL jobs to GitHub Actions using bash scripting updating CI/CD workflows for all projects across the organization. Developed a driver to access register components of FPGA hardware using hardware specification documents and Python. Guinea Pig Facts Github

An API that allows a client to add and view facts about guinea pigs. This project is being created with MongoDB, Spring Boot / Java, Junit, and Mockito.

Oregon COVID-19 Tracker Github

A web application that displays the daily Coronavirus changes, overtime regional graphs for county data, and the Oregon total graphs. This was created with a React frontend using the D3.js visualization library, Node.js/Express backend, and a PostgreSQL database. The data is scraped from the OHA website daily using Python.
